Transparency isn’t an add-on here; it’s the foundation of how we earn and keep your trust.

The Annual Percentage Rate, or APR, is designed to help you compare the overall cost of borrowing for a full year. It shows the total cost of a loan as a single percentage, which makes it easier to compare different offers. LoanTube operates as a comparison platform that reviews the actual APRs and monthly repayments available from multiple lenders so you can consider a wide range of options across loans and other credit products. Our real-time comparison marketplace uses a proprietary matching engine to connect you with lenders who are a good fit for your financial profile.

Any match we make between you and a lender does not create an obligation for you to accept the quote. Once the quotes appear on your screen, it is entirely your choice whether to proceed after reviewing the terms of the loan or credit offer. If you choose to accept a quote, we will direct you to the lender’s website to complete your application. From that point onwards, the processing of your application is exclusively between you and the lender. You may still cancel or decide not to go ahead at any time before signing an agreement or contract with them.

After we and our partners have reviewed your application, the APRs and monthly repayments shown on our website will either be Indicative or Guaranteed. Indicative rates are estimates that may change during the processing of your application by the lender. When a rate is listed as Guaranteed, it means the lender expects to offer you the same rate once you complete your application on their website, based on the information you have provided. However, if the lender later identifies missing, inaccurate or materially different information during their final checks, they may reassess the risk and offer a different rate or decline the application altogether. If the rate changes or you are unhappy with the updated offer, you are free to stop the process and can choose not to proceed with that lender.

After you accept an initial quote on our website, the lender may conduct a complete credit assessment. This can include a review of your credit history, verification of your income and expenses, and checks on your eligibility, affordability, and creditworthiness. Lenders may also review information about any financial associates and individuals linked to you at your current or previous addresses. By choosing to use our service and proceeding with a quote, you authorise our partners to carry out these checks where required.

They may or may not be available to you.

We use AI-powered tools to guide you through parts of the loan journey, help check your eligibility with our panel of lenders, and answer routine questions. These tools may generate information or insights based on the information you provide or data we already hold. They are designed to support your experience, but they may not always be error-free and should not be relied on as financial, legal or lending advice. Final lending decisions are always made by the lender. By using these tools, you agree to use them responsibly and for lawful purposes only.

We, together with our partners, carry out a “soft credit search” using the information you provide when completing an application form. A soft credit search, sometimes referred to as a quotation or preliminary search, helps us match you with suitable lenders or providers and allows them to assess whether they can offer you a loan or other credit product. Unlike a hard credit search, a soft credit search is only visible to you on your credit file and cannot be seen by other lenders or finance providers. It does not affect your credit score or how future lenders assess you.
